Hello, my name is Terry and I am Michigan Avenue Dental Associates' hygienist. I graduated in 2000 from Prairie State College where I received my Degree in Dental Hygiene. Soon afterwards I received my Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) state license. My first employer out of school was here at MADA, and, I've been here full time ever since. One of the most challenging and rewarding aspects of my job is providing individual treatment for patients' specific needs. It is inspiring to see them respond and I still marvel at how better people feel when they have healthy gums and a brighter smile. On a monthly basis dental and medical journals are publishing reports on the direct correlation between oral health and general body health. I do my best to impart this information to our patients and take pride knowing my hygiene services play an important role in the overall health of our patients.
